Fred Brown has over 13 years of significant profit and loss experience with small and large high tech healthcare firms around the world. Prior to coming to Pulse, Fred was the Chief Innovation and New Venture Officer at Ascension Health in Michigan, where he was working at the cutting edge of innovation to lead the fourth largest health system in the US to growth and profitability.
With over 25 years of experience as a top consultant and C-suite executive in healthcare and technology, Mr. Brown has launched $1B high technology healthcare businesses in the U.S. and Europe. As a Partner leading the Healthcare and Life Science Consulting organizations of Accenture, CSC and IBM, Mr. Brown founded, grew and led the largest healthcare services organizations in the world – responsible for business, technology and outsourcing services at these companies in the U.S. and EMEA. He also founded the life sciences company Alkermes (Nasdaq: ALK) and was President at Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy when it was awarded INC 500 status in 2009 and 2010, leading it to over $600M in sales revenue and 1400% growth rates.
As Global Head of Hoffmann LaRoche’s Product Lifecycle and Partnering Informatics, Mr. Brown was responsible for designing, building and managing critical clinical systems worldwide for over 10000 users. He is a thought leader and regularly speaks at leading industry events around the world.
Alice Solomon joins Pulse Infoframe as Senior Director responsible for account management and business development for the Greater Philadelphia region. She has over 20 years experience providing management and business development consultation to entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies and major corporations headquartered locally, nationally and internationally. Alice brings a depth of experience in business development and managing high profile prestigious accounts.
Before joining Pulse, Alice was Assistant Vice President of Business Development for Select Greater Philadelphia, an affiliate of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. Her focus was on educating companies on the strategic advantages of Greater Philadelphia and providing market information and connections to key government and business leaders across all industry sectors. She has successfully supported the efforts of numerous international companies as they expanded into the US market and has worked closely with the Trade Commissioner of the Canadian Consulate and mentored companies participating in the Canadian Technology Accelerator located in Philadelphia.
